Denton Enterprise Airport (KDTO), formerly Denton Municipal Airport, is a city-owned public-use field three nautical miles west of downtown Denton. It is one of the busiest general aviation airports in Texas, driven by heavy flight-training activity and strong business-aviation demand on the north side of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The City of Denton owns and operates the field.
